This is a somewhat artificial lily category, which is a “catch-all” for hybrid lilies bred from genetically-divergent groups. They tend to be quite rare, and in some cases are polyploid, and/or sterile due to their unusual chromosome make-up. In any case, our interdivisional lilies are marvelous garden lilies, good growers, good multipliers and are highly appealing to lily collectors. L.A. lilies refers to hybrids between Longiflorum (Easter Lily) and Asiatic lilies. O.A. refers to hybrids between Oriental and Asiatic lilies. L.O. refers to hybrids between Longiflorrum (Easter lily) and Oriental lilies.
