Trap is baited with gardener's own choice of bait, ranging from a dish of beer to the most toxic products, with no danger to the environment. The pesky gastropods will be irresistibly drawn to their doom, with no contact between bait and the soil or water supply. Snail Jail will reduce the amount of bait needed to control slugs and snails, as bait is not degraded or diluted by exposure to the elements. (Note: The creators of Snail Jail advocate "Bugetta" bait, because it is outrageously effective in luring hoards of guests in, but it is also one of the most serious POISONS, to be honest with you.)
