The Sumatra Lily is one of the most sought after of the Oriental lilies. Cut flower growers have cornered the market on this very special lily, until recent years. We can't convey sufficient enthusiasm to describe one of the darkest and most show-stopping lilies in commerce. Flowers are ENORMOUS, very fragrant. and have a ruffled edge. Color is a dense purple-red, with even deeper bands of black red in the center, with an accent of black spots and red pollen. There is a hint of white at petal tips. The more these flowers age, the darker they become, transforming to near-black. Bulb size at least 18/20 cm.
